We certainly can’t list all of them, but here are a few that are knocking our socks off!

Emily Carroll creates graphic novels for lovers of gothic horror.

Cecil Castellucci has won a bunch of awards for her many excellent comics!

Svetlana Chmakova uses manga-inspired art to tell awesome stories for young people.

Natasha Donovan is a creator of beautiful sequential art for several books for young people.

Kathleen Gros has created some great comics for young adults, the most recent being an adaptation of Little Women.

Elise Gravel creates totally adorable and often informative comics for younger readers.

Brenda Hickey is a sequential artist who is perhaps most famous among young folk for her awesome work on My Little Pony.

Faith Erin Hicks is a prolific, best-selling and award-winning creator of comics for kids and young adults!

Tasha Spillett is the writer behind Surviving the City Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, comics illustrated by the above-mentioned Natasha Donovan.

Jillian Tamaki is, among many other things, the creator of one of my all-time favourite comics for teens: Supermutant Magic Academy.

Mariko Tamaki (cousin to Jillian) is the award-winning creator behind many excellent graphic novels and she also writes for Marvel and DC.
